It is not I alone who waits for you<\/p>\n

Rather I am with me<\/p>\n

In interpretations of madness<\/p>\n

or in the imagination of lovers<\/p>\n

I have kindled a fire<\/p>\n

around the properties of my heart at the height of the cypress trees<\/p>\n

and I left a door open for your thirsty horses to pass<\/p>\n

to the sea of stars, I am there<\/p>\n

I assemble a necklace from the pearls of yearning<\/p>\n

to encircle your arrival<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t hurry, let me sow the path with butterflies<\/p>\n

so even if you continue on, a rainbow will follow behind you<\/p>\n

So come, it is not I alone who waits for you,<\/p>\n

and untangle the braids of stars so I can search the night<\/p>\n

Perhaps a spark hid here<\/p>\n

Then I breathe onto it the sighing of my letters<\/p>\n

and set it free, perhaps a hair from you clinging to it<\/p>\n

A lover\u2019s shooting star delights in it<\/p>\n

Or perhaps a cloud hid there<\/p>\n

and I fed it the fire of my deaths<\/p>\n

I encircle it with the veil of a stranger<\/p>\n

and I allow a glitter to seep from my heart<\/p>\n

Then it will pour rain more coveted than desire in winter,<\/p>\n

more coveted than a naked carnation<\/p>\n

kissed by the breeze after hardship<\/p>\n

Come to me<\/p>\n

Play a symphony on the halo of my waiting<\/p>\n

and tune the inhalation in the key of the drowned man<\/p>\n

and caress with your slender little finger the lips of speech<\/p>\n

So I won\u2019t blame the doves in you, lose yourself<\/p>\n

and lose me in meditations on marble<\/p>\n

I can shine or fall asleep<\/p>\n

among an idea you have not articulated<\/p>\n

or a wave you have not set free<\/p>\n

or a sigh you sent forth with your eyes<\/p>\n

or a tremor in a smile<\/p>\n

And let me sleep\u2026<\/p>\n

among a feminized letter<\/p>\n

and a morning breaking, and don\u2019t wake me with a question<\/p>\n

Continue describing your Narcissistic waist,<\/p>\n

your crimson breast,<\/p>\n

your pink flowers<\/p>\n

and the irritation of languages with the rose<\/p>\n

And come to me<\/p>\n

so I can undress between your letters<\/p>\n

Small bushes cover me,<\/p>\n

the size of a female partridge\u2019s eyebrow<\/p>\n

so I can slowly organize your bewilderment<\/p>\n

It is not important when we expire,<\/p>\n

that life is long<\/p>\n

or short<\/p>\n

What is most important is that you not arrive unnoticed<\/p>\n

Come to me with all of your spontaneous clamor<\/p>\n

in time with the Zajal poetic meter<\/p>\n

For I am not alone, rather I am with me<\/p>\n

I rebelled against myself<\/p>\n
